2. What is styling through speed?

Speed styling is what HAI has to offer. Because HAI invented the first ceramic pressing iron, we have continued to stay ahead of everyone else by being the first to bring you, the stylist, the most innovative technology and design to increase your ability to perform in the salon or at home. Our irons don't get the hottest but our tools contain the right mix of elements to heat up faster, maintain consistent heat longer and deliver the most precise styles in the quest time, every time.

3. What is Tourmaline and why is it in our tools?

Tourmaline is a natural gem that when heated, emits negative ions. HAIelite tools are all embedded with tourmaline to give you the healthiest hair possible.

4. Why ceramic coated versus 100% ceramic?

All of our tools are ceramic coated because truly 100% ceramic plates are very fragile and not as reliable as our Ceramic Fusion Technology that was adapted from NASA thermal engineering.

5. Is hotter better?  What is the right termpeature to press hair?

The temperature of the iron is not the most important element with how fast, or, how well it works. We recommend 170°F for thin or damaged hair and 380°F for healthy or thick hair. The technical design of our tools allows you to press hair with one to two passes without damaging the hair shaft!
